The Wa Municipal Assembly through the Ministry of Local Government Decentralization and Rural Development with funding from the Ghana Secondary City Support Project under the UDG-4 has awarded three contracts.
- construction of 1.2km road with bitumen surfacing, drains, speed ramps, road line markings, and road signs from kambali central mosque to Dobile linked road for a period of 6months to M/S P&W Ghanem Limited
- Upgrading of Wa Jonga road 3.9km sub-base prima seal and traffic management for a period of 6months to Okusie Company limited
- Upgrading of Wa-Jonga road 3.9km sub-base prima seal and traffic management (3km 900km to 7 + 800km) to Aschal Investment limited
The contracts have been signed and the sites handed over pending a formal sod cutting.
