The handing over ceremony was held on 5th August 2026 at Charia.
As part of efforts to improve access to potable water in the Municipality, an Electric Powered Mechanized Borehole with overhead tank was constructed at Charia.
Dignitaries Present include Hon. MCE, Hon. Member of Parliament for wa central, Hon. Assembly Member for Charia Electoral Area, Chief and Elders of Charia, and Officials from the Assembly.

Community members expressed appreciation and requested extension of such projects to other parts of the community.
With proper management and community ownership, the facility will significantly reduce the burden of accessing potable water in Charia.
