On 6th May 2026, Official opening of received Expression of Interest documents for the provision of solid waste management services in Wa Municipality.
The Wa Municipal Assembly issued a public notice inviting qualified firms and service providers to submit Expressions of Interest for solid waste collection, transportation, and disposal within Wa Municipality. This is part of efforts to improve environmental sanitation and align with national waste management policies.
The Expression Of Interest opening was conducted in a transparent manner in the presence of representatives from the Procurement Unit and submitting firms. The process included:
– Verification of the number of Expression Of Interest received against the submission register.
– Confirmation that submissions were sealed and received before the deadline.
The submitted Expression Of Interest will be forwarded to the Evaluation Committee for assessment based on criteria outlined in the Expression Of Interest document, including technical capacity, financial capability, relevant experience, and compliance with environmental standards.
Shortlisted firms will be invited to participate in the next stage.
