The Wa Municipal Assembly, under the stewardship of Alhaji Nurah Issah Danwanaa, has presented two Tricycle mobile ambulances to the Charigu and Boli communities.
The Assembly Members for Charigu, Hon. Abdulai, and Boli, Mr Yakubu, received the Tricycle mobile ambulances.
The brief ceremony was attended by the Municipal Health Directorate, Assembly staff, other key stakeholders, and members of the two beneficiary communities.
The MCE said the move is to improve healthcare delivery and emergency response in hard-to-reach communities.
He urged health authorities and the beneficiary communities to ensure proper maintenance and use of the ambulances for their intended purpose.
